The views from the home were amazing ,we stayed for a short time ,there were 5 of us and the home was very spacious with tons of room to hang out at. the outdoors also had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views by the pool. I felt very safe and at home ,the property and its surroundings were beautiful. my only complaint and its very minor was backing the car out of the driveway. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again next time i come to Roatan.

The house is absolutely beautiful! The views are spectacular, the home is comfortable with everything you need, and the host is very responsive to any needs. We requested an early check in and were able to do so. That was much appreciated. The area is also fantastic with several nice restaurants close by and a quick 10ish minute drive to the West End for more restaurants, activities, etc. We dove with Sun Divers in the West End and highly recommend them. Also, if you enjoy yoga, SunDowners in the West End offered a wonderful yoga class every morning on their deck. I also went to Spa Baan Suerte in Sandy Bay for a massage which was fantastic. Highly recommend bookings this house.

Honestly booking this was worth it just by the beautiful view alone and pool. This place really only has two actual bedrooms and a floor upstairs with two beds. So there is a lack of privacy if you sleep upstairs. Also this place has two showers but one is an outdoor shower and that sometimes caused issues when it was raining or there was a lot of bugs. The drive up to the place can be a little scary at night due to it being a tight mountain road and we had a large truck and sometimes had issues seeing over the hills when driving upward. Also parking can be somewhat problematic due to the road being tight and having to maneuver the car around to go back down the mountain. I would recommend using a smaller car but we manage with the truck we had. Check in was smooth and we were even allowed to drop off our stuff early. Also cooling the place down is sometimes tough during the peak hours and it can get very warm inside. Overall the view was amazing and the place was pleasant a stay.

The house was stunning. My wife and I stayed for 11 days and it was absolutely perfect. Very private and had everything we needed. The property managers are wonderful and quick to respond. I'd rent the house again for sure can't wait to go back.

The Purple Palace was wonderful. Beautiful big home with plenty of room for everyone. The deck and pool were by far the highlight of the villa. The view was epic & totally worth the stay. Be prepared for driving up the switchbacks on the road to get to the villa. We also enjoyed the location by Sandy Bay. Easy to get to West End for restaurants even though parking was rough & West Bay for snorkeling. We were not ready for the no AC in the main home but glad it was in bedrooms (extra $150) which worked extremely well. We snorkelled in the morning and came back to chill in the afternoon but the afternoon was sometimes unbearable with the heat in the living room & kitchen. This is all explained in the listing. Also, island lost power 6 times in the week (longest 3hrs) & host kept us updated. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 1 week isn't enough so be prepared with an extra roll. Grab some at Eldons grocery store on the way out. Pizza at Juniors & poke at Crisp in West End were great.

the house had a great beachy atmosphere, artsyand fun. The views were spectacular. the deck and pool were great spaces to chill. A well appointed kitchen made it easy to cook.
the location was perfect, we had a car and it was easy to explore the whole island.
Easy to communicate if we had any questions.
Elvis was quick to respond.

This property was stunning and so private. The view is everything and while swimming in the pool, you couldn’t ask for more. I got fast responses for any questions we had and was given a little extra time for check out. This stay is perfect for couples and/or a family. We even got to see the pool cleaners dog and two kitties, felt like home! Only thing I would say is there was not enough toilet paper for our whole stay but that’s it! Thank you again for everything!

Absolutely stunning view and such a relaxing and warm welcoming home! The location is also great, as it is an easy 15 min drive to West End and a few great restaurants are also just down the road a few minutes as well!

The house was a great place to stay. The views were amazing and the house was very comfortable. Elvis, the caretaker, was available for any assistance. The outdoor shower took some getting used to but at the end of the week, I really enjoyed it. The pool was relaxing at the end of the day to sit in and watch the sunset. Highly recommend.

The view is breathtaking! Absolutely beautiful! House was so colorful and full of life. The pool was always clean. Also, if you get the chance, there’s a lady name Blaky in the recommendation book. She’s a private chef and would come cook for you at the house.The food was amazing! 1000/10. Overall an excellent experience! Can’t wait to come back 🙂

Was a beautiful home and experience just amazing, I personally loved the location since it was basically on top of a hill and I highly recommend getting a car rental just because location is away from the general tourist area, which I loved. Love that the home was fully furnished to cook and make coffee, if needed. Definitely looking forward to returning to this home.

A beautiful island getaway for our family. The house was exactly what we expected and more. The decor could not be more appropriate for an island house. The art and wall hanging are beautiful. We had beautiful sunsets every night each one a little different. The pool was great. One of our favorite places to hang out was the covered portion of the deck during the heat of the day if we were not out diving or exploring. Definitely need some means of transportation

We absolutely loved our stay at Purple Palace! The place is exactly as we hoped, stunning views, great pool, exactly as pictured! Everything we needed was provided. Check in and out was easy. We loved being situated on the hill with stunning views and a little out of the way from the huddle and bustle of West End. A great location but you’ll definitely want to rent a car as the hill is a big one. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay at the Purple Palace! We loved the local Roatan art, the quiet neighborhood, the spectacular view, pool, and the well-equipped kitchen. We also had a privet chef come and cook us the best food we had on the island. Highly recommend!

Purple Palace it's a must stay!!!! this beautiful listing won't disappoint. The sunrise and sunsets by the pool are amazing. The pool its short of 5ft deep, and small. The local decor and art made this vacation home excellent for talking points. The rooms are so well designed and the outdoor shower was a dream come true. Thank you Roatan Property for such an awesome well kept location.

We had such a good time in the purple palace ! I promise all you’ll want to do is be by the pool with that view. The caretaker was so nice and such a good help.

Our stay at this house was beyond satisfying. The decorations and artwork inside the house were breathtaking and it felt like a traditional Honduran home. The view from the pool to the ocean and neighboring houses was spectacular and the area overall was very peaceful. It is a very cozy and beautiful location and Im glad I chose this specific place to stay at while I visited the beautiful island of Roatan. 10/10 strongly recommend to anyone planning to vacation at Roatan.

five stars all the way for me! as mentioned, renting a car with this airbnb is pretty much necessary but it’s only about a 10 minute drive to west end and 15-20 minutes to west bay. The house is honestly just as pictured and very roomy! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view and convenient location to West End and West Bay with privacy. The house itself is lovely with lots of cool decorations and cozy feel. Armando (on sight caretaker) was very helpful with whatever we needed. The pool was perfect for keeping cool during the heat of the day and offered a relaxing place to chill and watch the stars in the evenings. The two bedrooms and the loft are the only parts of the house that are air conditioned so the rest of the house does get hot during the day but open up all the windows and doors with ceiling fans going and you’ll be fine.

Nice location but you do need a vehicle (as stated in listing) as most attractions are not within walking distance. View is spectacular, communication with property management was excellent and quick. Very relaxing property.

It has lots of privacy. The home itself is a piece of Art! You’ will need a car to get to places though.

We love the Purple Palace. This was the second time we stayed here. Had a little issue with the pool but property management was right on top of it. Beautiful view, comfy bed and perfect location.

We rented a manual 4x4 which I’m glad we did because there are some steep driveway driving around town including this place. The view was unbeatable and being secluded was nice. Having a private pool made the trip much better. Keep in mind that only the sleeping rooms have AC so the living around 5pm can be pretty muggy. All in all it was a great trip!

Truly impeccable! We loved it so much that we booked this place twice during our trip. It felt like home and will be our home every time we travel to Roatan. Unbelievable property! It is not only aesthetically beautiful and very clean, but also the service and communication and staff were wonderful. The decoration is amazing, the outdoor shower and pool with views is unique! I highly recommend visiting this property during your stay at Roatan. I loved it so much that we booked again for the same trip. We didn’t even want to go anywhere else. Looking forward to being there again, and will always book this place when visiting here without question! 🙂

well what can I say about this place. do not rent from them. The place needs a complete and major deep clean. I understand there are geckos in the Caribbean. Unfortunately this property is not interested in the upkeep and they are absolutely running rampant inside the house with feces on all surfaces. The smell oh, I can't even explain it. Very disappointed we were very much looking forward to spending time here. But without my sanitizing extensively, it was unlivable. unfortunately Roatan property refuses to compensate me for the time we spent there and all the work I did in that house. so very disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The quiet hillside locale was exactly what we wanted. The view is breathtaking. But you should definitely rent a car to be able to get around and go wherever you want whenever you want because it really is WAY up a long windy road on the hillside. The property management team was extremely responsive - like within minutes usually. We were 3 women there for a week and we had to go buy toilet paper because there just wasn't much stock there. You should bring all that you need for living because there is nothing there apart from hand soap at the sinks, trash bags, a couple rolls of toilet paper, and coffee filters. Be sure to bring your own bath soap, shampoo, coffee, baggies or whatever you want to store food if you decide to cook. We cooked and had to buy simple items like salt and pepper and olive oil. The house was a little quirky, but we loved our time there & would definitely go back. One interesting thing that we did not realize when we booked is that the pool is truly tiny! The photos are accurate, but we just didn't recognize it because we were so focused on the cliffside infinity edge. You can clearly see in the photos that the pool is just wide enough on each side to place two lounge chairs facing it! Anyway, we were surprised. But it did not detract ONE BIT from our experience. 🙂

Purple Palace has an incredible deck with a view to the sea! It is close enough to the beach, restaurants and bars while still being completely retreated in a quiet area of Roatan. We very much enjoyed our stay and Roatan Property was quick to communicate and answer our questions!
(Do note that the third sleeping area is a loft and offers limited privacy - though it is spacious and comfortable!).

If you’re looking for a quiet private for a big group, this is the place. It is hidden in the jungly hills of Roatan with spectacular views! The pool overlooking the home is amazing, especially after a long day of exploring. They have everything you need in the home. My group and I had a minor hiccup but Roatan Property was responsive and accommodating to our requests/concerns. I have stayed with Roatan Property before and they have not disappointed.

Awesome property and location. This was a first trip to Honduras. We rented a car and villa is 10mins from Airport. It was an easy drive. 12 mins from West End and 5 mins from Anthonys Key clinic where we got our return covid tests done for $50. Pool was clean and well maintained. We grilled and cooked during our stay and all we needed was available. They also provide a 5gal bottle of filtered water. Would have been nice to have AC throughout as it was very hot but AC in the rooms was cold and sufficient. We would stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks Tanisha, Armando and crew!

Excellent communication

Amazing home! Unbelievable view! Outstanding Location! We could not have asked for a better home for our party of 5! The pool and deck location were great, the house was exactly as the pictures show. We loved the outdoor shower in the master bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils, plates, cookware, etc. Sandy Bay location is nice, about 12 minutes to the airport, ten to West End/Half Moon Bay, no more than 20 to West Bay. I would recommend a car. Highly recommend this home!

The property was perfect for our friend group. So relaxing and the views are amazing! We loved having the pool and cabana. The outdoor shower was also really nice. This house is fully equipped with everything you need. I would suggest paying for the AC and renting a car. Such beautiful views!

Perfect view, perfect location! The pool was awesome - there was an issue with the light that needs fixing but I’m sure they will sort that out. The house was full of local art and we felt right at home. Loved the outdoor shower too

They view is INCREDIBLE. Definitely the best part about the place. The only suggestion I have is 100% to rent a car. Bus service is pricy and the house is pretty disconnected from the main town area.

The Purple Palace is in a perfect location to enjoy the best of Roatan but also with amazing quiet and peacefulness. The house is spacious with tons of outdoor space including the pool, all with incredible views. Armando, who lives on the property, was so kind and helpful. The house is beautiful, and we would most definitely return to stay there again.

Our stay at Purple Palace was amazing. The view was outstanding. There were several places to sit making it very roomy for a family of six. The pool was the perfect temperature and we particularly enjoyed the Bali style outdoor shower. A great choice for a holiday stay.
